About General Work Products
General Work Products was founded by Greg W. Palmer in 1994. Like his father and grandfather’s business before him, G.W.P began with a focus on wholesale rope. Greg’s grandfather, George J. Palmer, started Tri-Ro-Pa Mills (Twine, Rope & Paper) in 1924. Greg’s father Jared B. Palmer, continued it through 1998. For Greg Palmer, rope ties more than just objects together. It binds him to his commitment to family, community, and customers.
